Chili And Lime Mexican Fruit Salad

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups pineapple, peeled, cored and cut into bite size cubes

  • 2 cups watermelon, rind removed, deseeded and cut into bite size cubes

  • 1 1/2 cups blueberries

  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled and cut into bite size pieces

  • 1 large blood orange, rind removed, deseeded and cut into bite size pieces

  • 1 kiwi, skin removed and cut into small bite size pieces

  • 2 cups of frozen mango cubes, thawed

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder or more to taste

Directions:

1. Using a large bowl add pineapple, watermelon, blueberries, strawberries, blood orange, kiwi, and mango. Sprinkle lime juice over top and toss to coat. Sprinkle chili powder over the top and toss to coat. Before dishing up each serving, toss fruit salad to refresh the lime juice over the fruit.

Notes: As a leftover idea use a little of the fruit salad in your regular smoothie to give it a different and unique taste.
